Specifications

Each canopy or carport is made to individual requirements including a full range of colours, in our own factory under British Standards, EN ISO 9001:2008. This covers the design, manufacture and installation of our GRP roofs.

Our cantilever range, the traditional glass re-enforced polyester roofing sheets (85% translucent) have industrial strength properties and are designed to be tough and long lasting. They are machine formed to an exclusive profile with a co-extruded ultra violet filter. UV protection also prevents yellowing and loss of strength to the panel giving it a longer life. They also have a (class 3 ) fire rating.

This range is completely self-supporting, needing no pillars or posts but is incredibly strong, so much so, they have been proved to withstand hurricane force winds and snow loads in excess of 2 tonnes, ensuring they meet stringent building regulations and tested by an independent structural engineer for your complete piece of mind.

Our wall fixings are manufactured by Hilti Great Britain. All of the fixings are 316 marine grade stainless steel for longevity and total resistance to corrosion.

All facia, as standard are in structural grade aluminium 6082t6 (BS 1474) powder-coated (BS 6496). We use aluminium guttering creating a robust and attractive gutter system.

Occasional circumstances dictate that load spreading brackets are required. These brackets are fabricated in grade 43 steel, galvanised (BS EN ISO 1461) and powder coated (BS 6496)
The finishing of the brackets is to marine specification and will not require any maintenance. Brackets are only added so as to comply with British Standards 6399 part 3.

Our roofing system has a variable pitch of between 2.5 and 45 degrees. They can be constructed to any length to suite your requirement
